Connecting accounts
Google (Gmail, Contacts, Calendar)
Settings (⌘,) › Add an account › Google opens Google's sign-in in your browser. One sign-in covers Gmail, Google Contacts and Google Calendar. (For now Junto first asks for a Google OAuth client of your own; Settings walks you through making one.) To disconnect, remove the account in Settings; you can also revoke Junto's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
iCloud Contacts
Junto reads iCloud Contacts with your Apple ID and an app-specific password, which you create at account.apple.com. The password is kept in your Mac's Keychain.
Contacts on this Mac
macOS asks once for permission to read the Contacts app; you can change it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Contacts.
Everyday questions
Closing the window didn't quit Junto
That's on purpose: closing the window (⌘W) keeps Junto syncing and notifying you of new mail. Click its Dock icon to bring it back; ⌘Q quits.
Notifications
macOS asks the first time Junto has something to tell you. Change it in System Settings › Notifications › Junto, or turn notifications off (all of them, or one context's) in Junto's config.toml.
Starting at login
Settings › This Mac › Launch at login. Junto starts hidden and syncs in the background.
Every key
Press ⌘K (or ?) for every command and its key.
Where my data lives
On your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/junto, with passwords and sign-ins in the Keychain. See Privacy.
